Job Title: Facility Manager
Job Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s building, equipment, and overall infrastructure to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for customers and staff. This role involves managing maintenance operations, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance of restaurant buildings, dining areas, kitchen facilities, and restrooms.
- Ensure all equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen appliances) is functioning properly.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
Repairs & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
- Manage maintenance schedules and service agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and control maintenance costs.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure the restaurant complies with health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in all areas.
- Conduct safety inspections and emergency preparedness planning.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Supervise cleaning staff and ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Manage waste disposal and pest control services.
- Maintain attractive and functional dining and kitchen environments.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Track maintenance supplies and spare parts.
- Ensure proper operation of kitchen equipment, lighting, refrigeration, and utilities.
Budget & Reporting
- Prepare maintenance budgets and track expenses.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Report facility issues to restaurant management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or commercial facility management preferred.
Skills Required

Experience
- Typically 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance or operations, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

- Work involves supervising maintenance activities, inspecting facilities, and responding to urgent repair issues.
