The Regional Head will play a critical leadership role in expanding and strengthening GiftAbled's presence across Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Aspirational Districts. of Balrampur, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar and Shravasti.
Position Summary
The Regional Head will be responsible for leading all operations, program implementation, partnerships, business development, administration, fundraising support, government engagement, and financial sustainability across Uttar Pradesh.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building organizations from the ground up. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, execution-focused, comfortable working in resource-constrained environments, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Leadership
- Lead GiftAbled's overall operations across Uttar Pradesh.
- Develop and execute the regional growth strategy.
- Build GiftAbled as the preferred disability inclusion partner in the state.
- Ensure all regional goals and KPIs are achieved.
- Establish new centres and expand operations into new districts.
2. Program Management
Oversee implementation of:
- Early Intervention Centres
- Inclusive Education programs
- Livelihood and Skill Development
- Corporate-funded CSR projects
- Government-funded projects
- Community-based rehabilitation initiatives
Ensure:
- Timely execution
- High-quality service delivery
- Budget adherence
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Impact reporting
3. Government Relations
Develop strong working relationships with:
- District Administration
- State Government Departments
- Social Welfare Department
- Education Department
- Health Department
- Skill Development Mission
- National Health Mission
- District Disability Rehabilitation Centres (DDRCs)
- District Disability Empowerment Offices
Represent GiftAbled in state-level committees, consultations, and stakeholder meetings.
4. Business Development & Partnerships
Lead efforts to:
- Build institutional partnerships
- Engage corporate partners
- Develop community participation and collaboration
- Support proposal development
- Identify funding opportunities
- Convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
5. Operations & Administration
Responsible for:
- Regional administration
- Infrastructure setup
- Vendor management
- Procurement oversight
- Compliance
- Risk management
- Asset management
Ensure smooth functioning of all regional centres.
6. Team Leadership
Recruit, mentor, and manage:
- Program Managers
- Centre Managers
- Therapists
- Special Educators
- Field Coordinators
- HR

- Operations staff
Build a culture of accountability, inclusion, ownership, and continuous learning.
7. Financial Management
Responsible for:
- Regional budgets
- Cost optimization
- Financial planning

Ensure financial sustainability of regional operations.
8. Monitoring & Impact
Track key performance indicators including:
- Beneficiaries served
- Children receiving early intervention

- CSR project milestones
- Government partnerships
- Revenue generation
- Manufacturing output
- Quality standards
- Compliance indicators
9. Stakeholder Management
Build long-term relationships with:
- Government officials
- CSR leaders
- Donors
- Foundations
- Local NGOs
- Educational institutions
- Hospitals
- Community leaders
- Parents of children with disabilities
10. Innovation & Scale
Identify opportunities to:
- Improve operational efficiency
- Leverage technology and AI
- Introduce new livelihood models

- Replicate successful interventions across districts
Desired Candidate Profile/ Education
- MBA / Master's Degree in Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, Rural Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Candidates from Science and Engineering background are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- 15–25 years of overall experience.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing multi-location operations.
- Experience in NGOs, CSR, healthcare, education, livelihoods, or development sector preferred.
- Experience working with government departments.
- Experience managing budgets and large teams.
- Demonstrated ability to scale programs and build partnerships.
