Electrical Engineer – Maintenance

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, ensure smooth plant operations, maintain electrical systems, and follow safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain electrical systems including motors, transformers, DG sets, plant lighting, automatic doors, borewell systems, dosing units, granulators, hopper loaders, mould master systems, DM Plant, ETP, and other utilities.
- Coordinate motor rewinding and repair activities.
- Support installation, erection, and shifting of new machinery.
- Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the stores department.
- Allocate maintenance work to technicians and monitor job completion.
- Prepare maintenance reports and machine failure reports.
- Coordinate with electricity board authorities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company quality systems.
- Maintain proper documentation as per company standards.
- Implement 5S practices in the electrical maintenance area.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience with industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, DG sets, utilities, and injection moulding equipment will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and team coordination skills.
