About the Role
MRPL is a Ludhiana-based real estate group with a portfolio of premium residential, commercial, and golf-estate developments. Our corporate office regularly hosts homebuyers, channel partners, investors, consultants, and senior stakeholders — and every visit should feel like walking into a luxury hotel, not a construction company’s back office.
We are seeking a Facility Manager from a luxury hospitality background to own the complete functioning and presentation of the corporate office. The benchmark for this role is the standard of service, grooming, and attention to detail found at India’s finest hotels — The Oberoi, Taj, ITC Luxury Collection, and comparable properties. The right candidate will bring that discipline to how the office looks, how guests are received and hosted, and how the support team performs every day.
Key Responsibilities
Office Upkeep & Housekeeping
- Own the day-to-day functioning and presentation of the entire office — reception, meeting rooms, cabins, sample/display areas, pantry, and washrooms — to five-star housekeeping standards.
- Supervise and train housekeeping and support staff; institute daily checklists, inspection routines, and grooming standards for the team.
- Manage upkeep of furniture, fixtures, lighting, indoor plants, fragrance, signage, and décor so the office is always client-ready.
Guest Experience & Front Office
- Personally oversee the reception and hosting of clients, investors, and senior visitors — warm welcome, seating, refreshments, and follow-through, in the manner of a luxury hotel guest relations desk.
- Manage boardroom and meeting-room readiness: bookings, AV setup, stationery, refreshments, and turnaround between meetings.
- Plan and execute in-office client events, launches, festive arrangements, and VIP visits end-to-end.
F&B / Pantry Services
- Run the office pantry and beverage/F&B service to hotel standards — menu planning for client meetings, service etiquette, crockery and presentation, hygiene, and inventory.
- Train pantry and service staff on plating, serving protocol, and guest interaction.
Administration & Vendor Management
- Manage facility vendors and AMCs — housekeeping agencies, pest control, HVAC and electrical upkeep, water, security, landscaping — including scope, quality checks, and billing.
- Oversee office security, access, visitor logs, and key management in coordination with the security agency.
- Control consumables, pantry, and housekeeping budgets; maintain stock registers and monthly expense reporting to the COO.
- Coordinate travel, courier, telephony, and general administrative support as required.
Candidate Profile
Background & Experience
- 6–12 years in luxury hotels or high-end resorts, with hands-on exposure to housekeeping AND food & beverage service. Candidates from The Oberoi, Taj, ITC, The Leela, Hyatt, Marriott luxury brands, or comparable properties strongly preferred.
- Experience at Executive/Assistant Manager level in Housekeeping, F&B Service, Front Office, or Guest Relations — or as a Duty/Lobby Manager — translates well to this role.
- Degree/diploma in Hotel Management (IHM or equivalent) preferred.
Presentation & Communication
- Polished, confident, and client-facing — comfortable receiving and engaging senior guests, HNI homebuyers, and institutional visitors.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, along with fluency in Hindi/Punjabi.
- Impeccable personal grooming and formal business attire at all times, consistent with luxury hospitality front-of-house standards (e.g., sari or formal business wear for women; formal business wear for men).
Working Style
- Standards-driven and detail-obsessed; notices what others walk past — a crooked frame, a smudged glass, a delayed tea service.
- Strong people management with the ability to train and hold support staff to consistent standards.
- Organized, discreet, and dependable; comfortable working directly with senior management.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience and market standards. Will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
