Job Overview:
The Regional IT Supervisor for India is responsible for driving and overseeing all Compute, Storage, and Datacenter (CSD) initiatives across the India region. This role serves as the primary regional representative for CSD, ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered successfully, capacity planning aligns with business demand, and technology investments support operational objectives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to both IT and business leadership, building strong partnerships with regional stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, Site Management, Project Leadership, and Senior Directors. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, financial planning, leadership, and business relationship management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the India region's infrastructure strategy supports business growth while maintaining high levels of reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Regional Infrastructure Leadership
- Lead and oversee all CSD-related projects within the India region, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
- Serve as the primary regional escalation point for strategic infrastructure initiatives and major datacenter activities
- Coordinate regional efforts with global IT teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and objectives
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements

Capacity Planning & Technology Strategy
- Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps for compute, storage, virtualization, and datacenter technologies
- Forecast future infrastructure requirements based on business growth, project demand, and technology lifecycle management
- Recommend and justify hardware refreshes, expansions, and modernization initiatives
Ensure regional infrastructure remains scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective

Financial Management
- Develop annual budgets and multi-year forecasts for CSD infrastructure investments
- Manage capital and operational expenditures related to compute, storage, and datacenter technologies
- Prepare business cases and cost justification documents for infrastructure investments
Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining service quality and reliability

Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build strong working relationships with regional and global IT teams
- Act as the primary CSD representative to regional leadership and business stakeholders
- Partner with Procurement on vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchasing activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Site Managers, Project Teams, and Senior Directors to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements
Communicate infrastructure strategies, project updates, and operational impacts to leadership

Operational Excellence
- Ensure infrastructure solutions adhere to company standards, governance, and best practices
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and datacenter resilience initiatives
- Review infrastructure performance and capacity metrics to proactively address potential issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across regional infrastructure operations
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- 5+ years of experience leading complex infrastructure projects and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting technology investments, and developing business cases
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience working in global organizations and multicultural environments
