Job Opening: Senior Academic Counsellor

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right career-focused training programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong counselling abilities, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Counsel prospective students regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs.
✔ Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses based on their educational background and career aspirations.
✔ Handle inbound and outbound calls, inquiries, walk-ins, and online leads.
✔ Explain course details, curriculum, certifications, fees, and placement assistance.
✔ Follow up with prospective students and parents to convert inquiries into admissions.
✔ Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
✔ Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems regularly.
✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders.
✔ Coordinate with training and placement teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
✔ Stay updated on industry trends, educational programs, and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's Degree is an added advantage).
✔ Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Education Sales, Admissions, or Student Recruitment.
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔ Strong counselling, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
✔ Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate career guidance.
✔ Experience in lead management and admission conversion processes.
✔ Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office applications.
✔ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
✔ Target-oriented mindset with a proven ability to achieve admissions goals.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
