Job description:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end accounting and financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining healthy cash flow, and coordinating with banks, auditors, and government authorities. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and timely financial reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management
● Manage end-to-end accounting activities for the company.
● Ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and on time.
● Maintain the General Ledger, journals, and supporting documentation.
● Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, vendors, customers, and ledgers.
● Monitor receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
1. Banking & Treasury
● Coordinate with banks for all banking-related matters.
● Process all domestic and international (foreign remittance) payments accurately and on time.
● Prepare and submit monthly stock statements and other documents required by banks.
● Maintain relationships with bankers and resolve banking issues promptly.
1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
● Prepare and coordinate timely filing of monthly GST and TDS returns.
● Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and statutory requirements.
● Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for audits, tax filings, and financial statements.
● Maintain proper records for statutory compliance and audits.
1. Financial Reporting
● Prepare a monthly Mini Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statement for management review.
● Submit a monthly financial health report, including:
● Cash flow position
● Outstanding receivables and payables
● Bank balances
● Working capital status
● Key financial ratios and observations
● Highlight financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
1. Government & Regulatory Coordination
● Handle all communications and notices from GST, Income Tax, and other government departments.
● Prepare and submit replies and supporting documents in coordination with the Chartered Accountant.
● Ensure timely compliance with government regulations.
1. Payroll & Employee Accounts
● Manage salary processing and salary account transfers.
● Ensure statutory deductions such as TDS, PF, ESI (where applicable), and other payroll compliances are processed correctly.
● Maintain employee payroll records.
1. Internal Controls & Documentation
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
