- Material Receipt & Inspection: Receiving bulk construction materials (e.g., bricks, aggregates, electrical items) and verifying quantities against Purchase Orders (PO) and Invoices.
- Inventory Control: Tracking stock levels specifically for different construction categories like steel, cement, and formwork using registers or ERP systems like SAP.
- Site Issuance: Releasing materials to site workers based on approved indents while maintaining accurate "entry and exit" logs.
- Quality & Safety: Checking the condition of materials (e.g., ensuring steel isn't rusted) and enforcing safety protocols for handling hazardous or heavy substances.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using forklifts or pallet jacks to move and stack heavy loads.
