Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance Management
- Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure minimum downtime of machines and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports.
2. Electrical & Electronics Systems
- Oversee installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of PLCs, control panels, sensors, drives, and automation systems.
- Handle power distribution systems and ensure energy efficiency.
3. Team Management
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, and engineers.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff.
4. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Introduce predictive maintenance practices to reduce breakdowns.
- Monitor machine health and performance.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
6. Vendor & Spare Management
- Coordinate with vendors for repair, AMC, and spare parts procurement.
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
- Control maintenance costs and optimize expenses.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance manuals.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
- Analyze breakdown data and implement corrective actions.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement in machinery and processes.
- Implement automation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Support production team to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 5–7+ years of experience in maintenance (manufacturing/industrial setup preferred).
