Job Summary
UK International London Beauty School (UKIBS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and growth initiatives. The CFO will work closely with the Chairman and leadership team to drive financial performance, optimize business operations, and support expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial reporting, MIS reports, and monthly management dashboards.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial review processes.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, expansion plans, and business feasibility.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and governance standards.
- Support fundraising, banking relationships, and financial negotiations when required.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory; MBA Finance will be an added advantage.
- 10–15+ years of experience in Finance and Accounts, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in Education, EdTech, Healthcare, Retail, or Service industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling large budgets and multi-location operations.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and drive business growth initiatives.
