Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. Freshers with a genuine interest in paediatric occupational therapy and child development are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidate will work with children with developmental, sensory, motor, behavioural and functional difficulties under appropriate professional guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual occupational therapy sessions for children.
- Work on fine motor and gross motor skills, sensory processing, coordination and functional skills.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Support children in improving attention, participation, self-regulation and daily living skills.
- Work on handwriting, pre-writing, visual-motor integration and school-readiness skills where appropriate.
- Provide age-appropriate therapeutic activities through play-based intervention.
- Monitor and document children's progress regularly.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding therapy goals and progress.
- Collaborate with psychologists, behaviour therapists, speech therapists and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate therapy records and follow centre policies and ethical standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) Or Related Field
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with paediatric internship or clinical exposure will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills.
