Job Description:
IDBI Intech is looking for a motivated and technically strong Software Engineer with hands-on experience in database and SQL and PHP development, strong skills, and exposure to CI/CD processes and server environments.
The ideal candidate should be capable of developing applications from scratch, optimizing database queries, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while following best coding and security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and MySQL databases
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using PHP
- Develop application modules from scratch based on functional and technical specifications
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications
- Use JIRA for task management, bug tracking, and sprint-related activities
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines for build, deployment, and release management
- Support server-related activities including deployments, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting
- Follow established coding standards, security guidelines, and documentation practices
- Assist in continuous improvement of application performance and reliability
Skills Required:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle and MySQL databases
- Excellent SQL writing and query optimization skills
- Strong experience with PHP development
- Knowledge of JIRA (issue tracking, workflows, agile boards)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Basic knowledge of windows server environments and application deployments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to independently design and develop applications from scratch
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
