Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and technical strategy for a Digital Twin Simulation Platform that accelerates the development and validation of Autonomous medical imaging workflow.

Define and govern the overall platform architecture, ensuring scalability, extensibility, performance, security, and maintainability.

Architect simulation frameworks for the development of Virtual Patient Avatars, including anatomically accurate synthetic patient models representing diverse patient populations and clinical conditions.

Design and oversee the creation of clinically relevant Examination Room Environments that accurately replicate real-world medical imaging workflows and operational scenarios.

Develop architecture for digital representations of Medical Imaging Equipment and Instrumentation, including medical imaging systems, detectors, sensors, positioning systems, and related components.

Define simulation workflows that replicate end-to-end radiology procedures, patient positioning, image acquisition workflows, and autonomous imaging operations.

Establish frameworks for synthetic data generation, annotation workflows, metadata management, labelling strategies, and dataset governance.

Collaborate with AI/ML teams to ensure simulation assets and synthetic datasets support model training, validation, benchmarking, and performance evaluation.

Drive integration between simulation platforms, imaging applications, AI/ML pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.

Define architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for simulation, visualization, and digital twin technologies.

Perform technology evaluations and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Unreal Engine, Unity, Azure, and related simulation ecosystems.

Collaborate closely with product management, clinical experts, imaging scientists, software engineering teams, and business stakeholders

Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and industry standards related to medical imaging and healthcare data management.

Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, technical roadmap planning, and strategic decision-making activities.

Work Experience
Required Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Medical Physics, Robotics, Simulation Technologies, or a related field.

12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in Architecture or Technical Leadership roles.

Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse.

Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale Digital Twin, Simulation, or Virtual Environment platforms.

Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, API-driven design, and cloud-native applications.

Strong programming experience in Python, and modern software development practices.

Experience with 3D simulation, computer graphics, rendering engines, and physics-based modelling.

Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple engineering teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Desired Skills

Knowledge of medical imaging systems and healthcare standards including DICOM, HL7, and IHE.

Experience architecting synthetic data generation solutions and AI/ML enablement platforms.

Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, annotation frameworks, and dataset lifecycle management.

Experience with Nvidia Cosmos.

Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare Imaging, Autonomous Systems, Robotics, or Industrial Digital Twin solutions.

Understanding of imaging acquisition workflows, detector technologies, and radiology operations.

Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Computer Vision technologies.

Knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Experience with synthetic patient modelling, anatomical simulation, and procedural workflow simulation.

Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and regulations.

Ability to evaluate emerging simulation and digital twin technologies and incorporate them into long-term architecture strategy.
