Your key responsibilities include:
- Understanding project tasks and evaluating required input from customers.
- Proactively communicating any missing information or resources needed for task execution.
- Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of General Arrangements (GA), Plant Layouts, and plant-related equipment based on given MVR technology.
- Adhering to the established drawing/model review process within the team.
- Taking full accountability for your design drawings and models.
- Generating equipment fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Working on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, ducting, and other plant-related tasks.
- Planning your work in alignment with the overall project schedule and effectively managing time across multiple tasks.
Qualifications required for this role:
- B.tech Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design using various CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, etc.
- Hindi & English & local Language speaking is mandatory.
- Mechanical Designer experience minimum 5 years
- Sound knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong verbal, written and communications skills.
