A full-time or Part-time on-site role for a Consultant Radiology.
Responsibilities
· Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
· Analyze and evaluate medical images to provide accurate diagnoses
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate treatment plans
· Educate patients and their families on imaging procedures and possible risks involved
· Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and imaging reports
· Stay current with advances in radiology technology and techniques to provide the highest level of care
· Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to uphold imaging standards and protocols
Requirements
· Medical degree with a specialization in Radiology
· Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist
· Proven experience in interpreting diagnostic images
· Strong knowledge of radiology principles, techniques, and equipment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
· Proficiency in using specialized radiology software and PACS systems
· Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
· Availability to work on-call shifts and weekends as needed
