Siebener Automation and Solution designs and builds special purpose machines and automation solutions for industrial clients. We're looking for a motivated Junior Machine Designer to join our engineering team and grow their skills in real-world SPM design and commissioning.
Role Overview
As a Junior Machine Designer, you'll support the design team in developing mechanical components and assemblies for special purpose machines, working under the guidance of senior designers while building hands-on experience across the full design-to-commissioning cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in 3D modeling and 2D drafting of machine parts and assemblies
- Prepare BOMs and part drawings under senior designer supervision
- Support design reviews, revisions, and documentation
- Assist with component selection and vendor specification sheets
- Coordinate with the workshop/fabrication team during assembly
- Support on-site machine commissioning when required
- Continuously learn design standards, tolerancing, and manufacturing constraints
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 0–2 years of experience (freshers with strong CAD skills are welcome)
- Proficency in Solid work is must
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD or similar)
- Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site work
Pay: ₹11,819.91 - ₹25,150.51 per month
