We are looking for a motivated PLC Programmer with hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley automation systems to join our Automation Team.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers.
● Design and develop HMI applications using FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
● Configure and integrate industrial automation devices including:
● Servo drives
● Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
● Encoders
● Machine vision systems (Keyence/Cognex preferred)
● Sensors and remote I/O
● Develop machine sequences, alarms, interlocks, and safety logic.
● Perform machine testing, debugging, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning.
● Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, electrical, motion control, and communication-related issues.
● Optimize machine performance, reliability, and cycle time.
● Maintain software backups, documentation, and revision history.
● Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and design teams throughout machine development.
● Provide technical support during installation, customer trials, and after-sales commissioning.
Required Skills
● Strong programming experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
● Experience developing HMI applications using FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
● Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, Modbus, RS-232, and RS-485.
● Experience with servo motion control and encoder-based applications.
● Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and control panel schematics.
● Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
● Good understanding of industrial automation, machine sequencing, and safety systems.
Preferred Skills
● Experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, or special-purpose machinery.
● Knowledge of machine vision systems such as Keyence or Cognex.
● Experience with servo motion applications.
● Familiarity with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
● Exposure to SQL databases, recipe management, or production data logging.
Qualifications
● Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
● 2–6 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, or machine building.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
