Job Summary
The Librarian shall be responsible for the effective administration and management of the school library and shall support the academic community by ensuring access to relevant educational resources.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day library operations.
- Catalogue, classify and maintain library resources.
- Issue and receive books and maintain accurate records.
- Assist students and faculty in accessing library resources.
- Promote reading habits through library initiatives.
- Coordinate procurement of books and learning materials.
- Conduct stock verification and maintain inventory records.
- Ensure discipline and upkeep of the library environment.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of library management systems and MS Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
