Business Head – Pan India (Sales & Marketing)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Business Head to lead the Sales & Marketing operations across India for our EdTech business. The Business Head will be responsible for driving nationwide business growth, increasing revenue, expanding market presence, developing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening the company's brand in the education and training sector.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, deep expertise in business development, sales strategy, channel management, digital marketing, and experience within the EdTech, Technical Training, Education, or Skill Development industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Leadership
- Develop and execute Pan India business growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive overall revenue, profitability, and market expansion across all business verticals.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and establish long-term business plans.
- Lead strategic initiatives to strengthen the company's market position.
Sales Management
- Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve annual revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance across all branches and territories.
- Build and manage high-performing Regional Managers, Territory Managers, Branch Managers, and Sales Teams.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and business expansion.
- Establish sales KPIs and performance monitoring systems.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Creative, and Content teams.
- Develop promotional strategies for student admissions, corporate training, and institutional partnerships.
- Monitor campaign ROI and optimize marketing investments.
Business Development
- Identify new markets, strategic partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, universities, industries, and government organizations.
- Expand franchise, channel partner, and institutional business across India.
- Lead key client negotiations and strategic alliances.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and develop leadership teams across regions.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
- Foster a high-performance and result-oriented work culture.
- Develop succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Operations & Revenue Management
- Monitor branch profitability and operational efficiency.
- Review sales forecasts, budgets, and financial performance.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Optimize resource utilization to improve profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and service quality.
- Address escalated customer concerns effectively.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
- Identify new products, services, and revenue opportunities.
- Recommend strategic improvements based on market insights.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
- Monitor KPIs, revenue growth, conversion ratios, and customer acquisition metrics.
- Utilize CRM and MIS reports for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or General Management ( Edu-tech Mandatory).
- Fluent in Hindi & English
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-location or Pan India operations.
- Experience in the EdTech, Technical Training, Skill Development, Education, IT Training, Industrial Automation, or Technology Services industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving high revenue growth and leading large sales teams.
