About the Role
WARP Architects is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Fire Safety Consultant to join our MEP Design team. The candidate will be responsible for designing plumbing and firefighting systems for commercial, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design water supply, sewerage, drainage, and rainwater harvesting systems.
- Prepare plumbing layouts, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Design stormwater drainage and water storage systems.
- Design fire hydrant, hose reel, sprinkler, and fire water pump systems.
- Design fire detection, alarm, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and contractors.
- Review shop drawings and vendor technical submissions.
- Participate in project review meetings and periodic site inspections.
- Ensure all designs comply with NBC Norms, IS Codes, and Fire Safety Standards.
- Provide technical support during project execution and design coordination.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Consultancy.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in commercial, institutional, hospitality, or residential building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of NBC, Fire Protection Systems, and Plumbing Design Standards.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and cost estimation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Coimbatore are preferred.
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Note
This position involves multidisciplinary coordination, periodic site visits, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on project requirements.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
