Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Tender / Bid Management professional to handle end-to-end tendering activities from the Head Office. The candidate should have strong experience in preparing, coordinating, and submitting tenders for large infrastructure projects.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Candidates must have relevant experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Railway Projects – Mandatory
- NHAI / National Highway projects
- Road Construction / Highway Projects
- Bridge / Flyover / EPC Projects
- Infrastructure Consultancy Companies
- Engineering / Construction Companies handling government or PSU projects
Railway project experience is compulsory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor new tenders related to Railways, NHAI, Roads, Bridges and other infrastructure projects.
- Study and understand tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, eligibility criteria and technical requirements.
- Coordinate the complete tender submission process from Head Office.
- Check technical, commercial and financial eligibility requirements.
- Prepare tender checklists and ensure compliance with all tender conditions.
- Coordinate with technical, estimation, finance, legal and project teams for tender preparation.
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid documents.
- Coordinate preparation of EMD, tender fees, bank guarantees, affidavits, undertakings and other required documents.
- Review BOQ, scope of work, schedules and contractual conditions.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders and track tender status.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities and internal departments wherever required.
- Support pre-bid queries, corrigendum analysis and tender amendments.
- Ensure timely submission of bids within prescribed deadlines.
- Maintain a database of completed/ongoing projects, credentials and supporting documents.
- Assist in post-bid activities, negotiations and clarification responses.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / relevant field preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in tendering/bid management in the infrastructure or construction sector.
- Mandatory experience in Railway projects.
- Experience with Railways, NHAI, highways, roads, bridges or infrastructure consultancy will be strongly preferred.
- Should have worked in a Head Office / Corporate Office tendering environment.
- Strong knowledge of government/PSU tender procedures and e-tendering portals.
- Good understanding of technical and commercial tender documents.
- Strong coordination, documentation and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and tender/e-procurement portals.
- Ability to work under strict tender submission deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates from Railway EPC contractors, infrastructure companies, NHAI contractors, road/bridge construction companies or infrastructure consultancy firms will be preferred.
Key Requirement: Railway project tendering experience + Head Office tendering experience.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
