- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide emotional support and counseling to couples undergoing fertility and IVF treatments.
- Explain infertility issues, treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes in simple terms.
- Assess patients' emotional and psychological readiness for fertility treatment.
- Guide couples through the IVF journey, from initial consultation to treatment completion.
- Address concerns related to stress, anxiety, depression, and treatment-related challenges.
- Educate patients about lifestyle modifications that may improve fertility outcomes.
- Facilitate informed decision-making by discussing treatment plans, risks, and alternatives.
- Coordinate with fertility specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate counseling records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Conduct follow-up sessions to monitor emotional well-being and provide ongoing support throughout the fertility journey.
