About the Role
AKOI Marketing Hub Private Limited is seeking an experienced E-commerce & Quick-Commerce Account Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of marketplace and quick-commerce accounts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for catalog management, listing accuracy, account health monitoring, pricing updates, promotional execution, inventory tracking, and platform issue resolution. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and marketplace support teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Account Management
- Manage day-to-day operations across major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.
- Maintain account health and platform compliance.
- Coordinate with platform support teams to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor account performance and operational metrics.
Catalog & Listing Management
- Create and update product listings.
- Manage product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and attributes.
- Maintain catalog accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve listing suppressions, content issues, and catalog errors.
- Support new product launches and product onboarding.
Account Health Monitoring
- Monitor platform notifications, policy alerts, and compliance requirements.
- Identify and resolve account-related issues.
- Track listing quality and catalog health.
- Escalate critical issues and ensure timely resolution.
Pricing & Promotions
- Implement pricing updates and MRP changes.
- Conduct pricing audits and identify discrepancies.
- Create and manage promotional offers, deals, and coupons.
- Support major sale events and promotional campaigns.
Inventory & Availability Management
- Monitor stock availability and inventory health.
- Identify out-of-stock products and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to improve product availability.
- Track inventory-related operational issues.
Issue Resolution & Platform Coordination
- Investigate and resolve catalog, pricing, inventory, and account issues.
- Raise support tickets and follow up with marketplace teams.
- Track issue resolution timelines and maintain documentation.
- Ensure timely closure of operational concerns.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to platform policies and category requirements.
- Maintain required product and compliance documentation.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and audits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track catalog health, account performance, inventory status, and open issues.
- Maintain operational dashboards and trackers.
- Share updates with internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Category Managers, Media Teams, Analysts, and Brand Stakeholders.
- Support product launches, assortment updates, and operational initiatives.
- Ensure smooth execution of marketplace operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in E-commerce Operations, Marketplace Operations, Catalog Management, or Account Management.
- Strong understanding of online marketplace operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with marketplace management platforms and seller portals.
- Experience handling large product catalogs.
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, personal care, or consumer electronics categories.
- Familiarity with quick-commerce operations is an added advantage.
