Job Summary
Inject Renewables Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, technical evaluation, and execution support of renewable energy projects, primarily Solar and Wind. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, clients, consultants, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Perform technical scrutiny of bid enquiries, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Prepare, review, and verify electrical design documents, calculations, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare tentative Bill of Quantities (BOQs) after project award.
- Develop and review substation layouts, electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable layouts, and associated engineering documentation.
- Carry out electrical system studies including:
- Load Flow Analysis
- Short Circuit Analysis
- Protection Coordination
- Relay Setting Calculations
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Design
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.
Vendor & Technical Coordination
- Review equipment drawings, General Technical Particulars (GTPs), and technical documents submitted by vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and OEMs for technical clarifications and approvals.
- Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and support equipment inspections at vendor facilities.
Project Execution & Site Support
- Conduct site visits for engineering support, inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Support the project execution team during installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Assist in resolving site-related engineering issues.
- Travel to project sites and vendor locations (approximately 30–40%) as required.
Documentation & Project Management
- Prepare and issue document transmittal letters for engineering drawings and documents.
- Maintain project engineering documentation and records.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
Business & Technical Support
- Support financial modelling, business decision-making, and Balance of System (BOS) selection.
- Interface with external consultants whenever required.
- Manage client communications and execute projects independently under guidance from senior engineers.

Software Proficiency

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Technical Competencies
- Experience in MV/HV electrical network AC design.
- Design of substations and electrical distribution systems.
- Preparation of electrical layouts and engineering drawings.
- Load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
- LV/HV protection schemes and relay setting calculations.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and statutory approvals.
- BOQ preparation, tender evaluation, and technical documentation.
- Vendor drawing review and technical bid evaluation.

Pay: ₹15,072.19 - ₹45,000.00 per month
