Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer with expertise in electrical erection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in industrial projects. The candidate should be capable of ensuring safe installation, testing, and successful commissioning of electrical equipment while complying with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical erection activities for HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, switchgear, cable trays, and cable laying.
- Execute installation, alignment, termination, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per approved procedures.
- Conduct testing of electrical equipment, including:
- Transformers
- HT/LT Switchgear
- Circuit Breakers (VCB/ACB/MCCB)
- Motors
- Control Panels
- Protection Relays
- Power and Control Cables
- Perform insulation resistance (IR), continuity, high-voltage (Hi-Pot), earth resistance, and relay testing.
- Carry out functional testing, loop checking, and system energization.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and rectify commissioning issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams during commissioning activities.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Support project handover by completing all testing and commissioning documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical erection, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, MCC, PCC, and control panels.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and wiring schematics.
- Familiarity with protection relays and testing instruments such as insulation testers, primary/secondary injection kits, multimeters, and earth testers.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and permit-to-work systems.

Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
