SAP Security consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorizations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in role design, user administration, access management, and compliance in SAP S/4HANA, and GRC environments. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, audit/compliance teams, and technical teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain SAP security roles and profiles across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, TM, EWM, PP, QM, SD, FI, SAC, DWC)

Perform user and role administration, authorization troubleshooting, and remediation.

Work with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into secure role designs.

Conduct role testing, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and risk remediation in.

Support ControlPanel GRC for user provisioning, risk analysis, and firecall access.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

Provide day-to-day SAP security support, including incident management and change requests.

Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and security patch implementations.

Create and maintain documentation (role matrix, security design, process guides).

Partner with auditors and compliance teams to provide evidence and resolve findings.
Qualifications:
-
5–7 years of experience in SAP Security and Authorizations.

Strong experience with role design and administration in ECC and/or S/4HANA, SAC, DWC.

Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control (user provisioning, SoD analysis, firefighter ID management) or any compliance tool.

Knowledge of Fiori security (catalogs, groups, OData, UI5 authorizations).

Strong understanding of SAP Basis concepts (client, transport management, system architecture).

Familiarity with SOX compliance, ITGC controls, and audit processes.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
