Location: Mumbai (Andheri West)
Work Timings: Mon to Sat, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and presentable intern to join our Client Relationship team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to learn the end-to-end client journey in the exhibitions and events industry from first contact through to post event follow up. You'll get hands on exposure to client communication, event coordination, and relationship management in a fast paced, real world business environment.
Note: This role may involve occasional travel across India for events and client visits.
Responsibilities:
- Handle extensive calling and follow ups with new leads to support expansion of ABEC's client base
- Assist in managing client and guest communication for various events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Help maintain and update client profiles and event information
- Act as a point of contact for basic client and guest queries, escalating where needed
- Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth event execution and guest experience
- Assist with on ground event logistics and client servicing during live events
- Take notes, prepare summaries, and support reporting for client interactions and follow ups
Eligibility & Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a graduate/postgraduate degree (any stream; Mass Media, Events, Marketing, or Hospitality background is a plus)
- No prior work experience required
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with clients and guests
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus but not mandatory
- Presentable, professional demeanor
- Willingness to travel occasionally, if required
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well both independently and in a team
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the events and client servicing space
