You will be working as Software Engineer with strong Celonis implementation experience to join our Process Mining and Automation team within a banking environment. The role will be responsible for designing, building, optimizing and maintaining enterprise-grade Celonis data pipelines, data models, process mining solutions and analytical assets that support business transformation, operational efficiency, control monitoring and process transparency across banking operations.
To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
- Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, process mining, BI, data warehousing or enterprise data platforms.
- Hands-on experience working with Celonis, including Data Integration, Data Pools, Data Models, Transformations, Analyses and Process Mining use cases.
- Strong SQL expertise, including complex joins, window functions, performance tuning, incremental loads and data quality checks.
- Strong understanding of Celonis Process Query Language, process mining concepts, event logs, activity tables, case tables and KPI modelling.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines from enterprise systems into Celonis using connectors, APIs, databases or scheduled data extracts.
- Good understanding of banking or financial services processes such as KYC, client onboarding, lending, payments, operations, reconciliation, complaints, risk controls or regulatory reporting.
- Experience with relational databases and cloud or enterprise data platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure or similar technologies.
- Ability to analyse source system data structures and convert business process logic into reliable Celonis data models.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for data load failures, transformation errors, performance issues and business data mismatches.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models with clear documentation, backlog refinement, sprint delivery and stakeholder demos.
Some other highly valued skills include:
- Celonis certification in Data Engineering, Process Mining, EMS or related learning tracks.
- Experience with Object-Centric Process Mining and Celonis process intelligence capabilities.
- Exposure to Python, Java, REST APIs, ETL tools, orchestration tools or automation platforms.
- Experience with enterprise governance, production support, incident management, access management and release management.
- Knowledge of banking technology controls, data privacy, information security and audit requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, technology, architecture, compliance and operations.
- Ability to create reusable data engineering patterns, templates and accelerators for multiple business processes
