Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters.

Job Description

· Creating manual test scripts which are detailed enough for others to execute.

· Experience in testing APIs. Preference for automation using Playwright, JMeter or similar tools.

· Preparation of Test Plans, Execution and reporting test results.

· Able to support the team with elementary debugging to identify the cause of a potential defect.

. Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions

Hands-on experience with source control (Git) and build tools (Maven)

· Experience testing Web GUIs with automated tests highly desirable.

· Experience creating load tests and executing same highly desirable.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the developers to create high quality, working software. Take responsibility to create test scenarios and acceptance criteria with SS&C Platform Managers and the local team.

· Timely feedback to the team on test results.

· Deliver repeatable test scripts back to SS&C.

Experience

· Likely 8+ years in software testing covering web GUI and API Testing.

· Capable of planning and managing own workload.

Measure

Understanding the test requirements and test case design of the product

Ensure error free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, # of automation done using VB, macros

Execute test cases and reporting

Testing efficiency & quality, On-Time Delivery, Troubleshoot queries within TAT, CSAT score
