Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production / Factory Manager to manage the overall operations of a garment manufacturing unit, ensuring production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day garment factory and production operations.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve targets and delivery timelines.
- Manage cutting, sewing, finishing, ironing, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, wastage, rejection, and machine utilization.
- Manage production manpower, supervisors, and line operators.
- Coordinate with merchandising, purchase, stores, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure required fabrics, trims, and materials are available on time.
- Maintain quality standards and minimize defects, rework, and wastage.
- Monitor factory costs and implement productivity and cost-control measures.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance, workplace safety, hygiene, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare and review daily/weekly production reports and KPIs.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Garment Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with strong factory/production management experience.
- Good knowledge of garment production processes and factory operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and team-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/production management systems.
- Experience managing large production teams will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
