Position: Purchase Executive
Department: Purchase
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors.
* Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
* Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
* Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
* Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments.
* Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.
* Track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
* Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and documentation.
* Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
* Prepare purchase reports and MIS as required.
Required Skills:
* Vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
* Good communication and coordination abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of GST, invoices, and purchase documentation.
Qualification:
* Bachelor's Degree (BBA/B.Com/Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management) or MBA preferred.
* 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase functions (Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).
