Job Summary
The Bodyshop Denter is responsible for repairing, reshaping, and restoring damaged body panels of Maruti Suzuki vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role involves dent removal, panel alignment, body repair work, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while following safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged Maruti Suzuki vehicles and assess repair requirements.
- Perform dent removal and metal body repairs using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bonnets, roofs, and bumpers.
- Carry out panel beating, straightening, reshaping, and alignment work.
- Use welding, spot welding, cutting, and grinding equipment as required.
- Ensure repaired surfaces are prepared properly for painting.
- Follow Maruti Suzuki repair procedures and workshop quality standards.
- Maintain job cards and record repair work accurately.
- Coordinate with Bodyshop Advisors, Painters, and Technicians to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Identify additional damages and report findings to the supervisor.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications
- ITI in Sheet Metal Work, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), or equivalent technical qualification.
- Certification in automobile body repair is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of vehicle body construction and repair techniques.
Experience
- 10 years of experience in automotive body repair and denting.
- Experience working on Maruti Suzuki vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of modern dent repair methods and bodyshop operations.
Technical Skills
- Dent removal and panel beating.
- Vehicle body alignment and frame correction.
- Welding (MIG, spot welding) and metal fabrication.
- Use of body repair tools, measuring systems, and pulling equipment.
- Reading repair manuals and job cards.
- Knowledge of accident repair processes.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
