Senior Civil Draughtsman – High-Rise ProjectsJob Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Draughtsman with over 5 years of experience in drafting for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in preparing detailed architectural, structural, and interior drawings, along with a thorough understanding of building codes, construction standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and interior drawings for high-rise hospitality, commercial, and residential projects using BIM/Revit, along with other relevant software and AI-based tools.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project coordinators to ensure seamless integration of drawings across all disciplines.
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate, coordinated, and error-free GFC (Good for Construction) and as-built drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on design modifications, site conditions, consultant feedback, and client requirements.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all project drawings and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, project standards, and quality requirements.
- Support project teams by addressing drawing-related queries and actively participating in coordination meetings.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or Draughtsman ship.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in high-rise construction projects.
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit, with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and AI-based design tools.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret and visualize complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
