Job Summary
Step Up School is inviting applications for the position of PGT Mathematics. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused educator who can effectively teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII (CBSE) and inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Use smart classroom technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings, staff meetings, school events, and training programmes.
- Mentor students and create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- M.Sc./M.A. in Mathematics or B.Tech/M.Tech (Mathematics-related discipline) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred/mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
- Strong command of Mathematics concepts and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Student mentoring and classroom management abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
