We are looking for a Production Follow-up Executive to coordinate with embroidery, stitching, and other job-work units to ensure timely execution of customer orders. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of the Karur textile industry and existing connections with production vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on daily production activities and order status.
- Coordinate with embroidery, stitching, printing, washing, and other subcontracted units.
- Monitor order timelines and ensure on-time completion of jobs.
- Visit vendors and production units as required.
- Identify alternate vendors and production capacity when needed.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Stores, and Production teams.
- Maintain production tracking reports and status updates.
- Escalate delays, capacity constraints, and quality issues to management.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Production Follow-up, Vendor Coordination, or Textile Production.
- Knowledge of home textile, textile, or garment manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Familiarity with the Karur textile and job-work ecosystem.
- Existing contacts with embroidery, stitching, or other production units will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working with home textile exporters or manufacturers.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and prioritize urgent orders.
- Willing to travel locally for production follow-up.
Location Preference: Candidates residing in or around Karur will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
