Quality Assurance & Control:
- The engineer develops and implements QA/QC procedures and quality standards.
- The engineer ensures compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
- The engineer monitors production processes to maintain quality at every stage.
Inspection & Testing:
- The engineer conducts in-process and final inspections of control panels.
- The engineer performs continuity, insulation resistance (IR), and Hi-Pot tests.
- The engineer verifies wiring, components, and panel layouts as per drawings.
Documentation:
- The engineer maintains inspection reports, test certificates, and quality records.
- The engineer prepares documents such as ITPs, checklists, and NCRs.
- The engineer ensures documentation is ready for audits and client approvals.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions:
- The engineer identifies defects and non-conformities during inspections.
- The engineer raises NCRs for deviations from standards.
- The engineer implements corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Vendor & Incoming Inspection:
- The engineer inspects incoming materials like switchgear, cables, and busbars.
- The engineer coordinates with vendors to resolve quality issues.
Client & Third-Party Inspection:
- The engineer handles customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- The engineer coordinates with third-party inspectors for compliance.
Team Leadership:
- The engineer supervises QA/QC inspectors and technicians.
- The engineer trains team members on quality and testing procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
- The engineer analyzes quality data to identify improvement areas.
- The engineer works to reduce rework, rejection rates, and defects
Required Skills:
- The candidate must have knowledge of LT, HT, MCC, PCC, and PLC panels.
- The candidate should be familiar with IEC, IS, and ISO standards.
- The candidate must be able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- The candidate should have experience with testing tools like megger and multimeter.
- The candidate must have good documentation and reporting skills.
