Job Title: Site Billing Engineer – Mechanical (Firefighting Systems)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Site Billing Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and hands-on experience in Firefighting System projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project billing, coordinating with the site and project teams, and ensuring timely submission of invoices and related documentation to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit client bills as per project progress (RA bills, final bills, etc.).
- Coordinate with site execution teams for daily progress and work measurement.
- Maintain records of measurements (M-book) and verify subcontractor bills.
- Ensure all billing documentation complies with project requirements and client formats.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for billing approvals.
- Assist in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost tracking for the project.
- Reconcile materials, labor, and work progress for accurate billing.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget from the billing perspective.
- Support internal audit and finance teams with required billing documents.
- Maintain records of all contract documents, variations, and change orders.
- Support project close-out and handover activities with final billing documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in billing for MEP or firefighting system projects.
- Good knowledge of fire protection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, pump room, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD (preferred), and ERP software.
- Strong understanding of BOQ, estimation, and rate analysis.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Preferred Candidates:
- Those who have worked with reputed fire protection or MEP contracting companies.
- Familiarity with industrial project billing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and site execution reports.
