Job Summary
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, financial records, statutory compliance, taxation, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The role ensures accuracy in accounting processes and compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and fund requirements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain compliance with Companies Act and other applicable laws.
- Handle assessments, notices, and queries from government authorities.
Payroll & Reporting
- Verify payroll data and ensure timely salary processing.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports.
- Monitor budgets and control operational expenses.
- Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide the accounts team.
- Allocate work and monitor team performance.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
- CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in Accounts & Finance functions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF & ESIC compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Busy, or other accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely completion of monthly financial closing.
- Accuracy of accounting records and reports.
- Compliance with statutory filing deadlines.
- Effective cash flow and working capital management.
- Audit observations and compliance status.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
