Job Summary
The Repairing Team Leader will be responsible for managing the mobile repair team, ensuring quality repairs, achieving productivity targets, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role requires strong technical expertise in smartphone repairs along with leadership and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the mobile repairing team.
- Allocate daily repair tasks and monitor productivity.
- Ensure repair targets are achieved within the defined timelines.
- Perform diagnosis and support technicians in resolving complex repair cases.
- Maintain repair quality standards and reduce repeat repair rates.
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Conduct quality checks before devices are dispatched.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Identify training needs and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Coordinate with inventory and operations teams for spare parts availability.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, policies, and documentation requirements.
- Handle escalations related to repair quality and technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the repair department.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/Graduate in a relevant field (preferred).
- Certification in Mobile Repairing will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in mobile repairing.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team handling or leadership role.
- Experience in handling multiple smartphone brands and repair processes.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in smartphone diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software repair processes.
- Knowledge of motherboard-level repairs will be preferred.
- Ability to handle complex repair cases independently.
- Understanding of repair quality standards and process controls.
