- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Manage inventory accounting for gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery stock
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and cash transactions
- Prepare GST/VAT/TDS and other statutory compliance reports
- Monitor retail sales transactions and POS reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and audit documentation
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Track bullion rates and support costing/pricing analysis where required
