Job Title: MEP Draftsman
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman to prepare detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings for building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop accurate drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare MEP drawings, layouts, sections, and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
- Develop Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing drawings as per project specifications.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineer comments and site requirements.
- Prepare as-built drawings and documentation.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of material schedules.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Support project teams during construction by providing drawing clarifications.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or relevant drafting software is preferred.
Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in MEP drafting.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Water Supply, and Drainage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
