Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Fighting Engineer with hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems in commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the systems are installed in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2, water mist, etc.).
- Review project specifications, drawings, and materials to ensure compliance with NFPA, local fire codes, and standards.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the installation phase.
- Perform and oversee testing and commissioning of fire protection systems, including functional performance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense) for inspections and approvals.
- Prepare and submit method statements, inspection reports, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and safe work practices on-site.
- Train end-users or client personnel on system operation and maintenance, if required.
