Electrician – Roles & Responsibilities (Restaurant Property)
Position: Electrician
Department: Maintenance
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted electrical supply throughout the restaurant property.
- Maintain and repair all electrical equipment, lighting systems, power outlets, and distribution panels.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, freezers, air conditioners, exhaust systems, and generators.
- Attend and resolve electrical complaints from all departments promptly.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify and rectify electrical issues before they affect operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain backup power systems and ensure generators are operational at all times.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major electrical repairs when required.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure energy-efficient usage of electrical equipment and report any abnormal power consumption.
- Respond immediately to electrical emergencies to avoid operational disruptions.
- Support the opening, closing, and smooth functioning of the restaurant by ensuring all electrical systems are in proper working condition.
Accountability
- Overall responsibility for the electrical maintenance and safety of the restaurant property.
- Minimize equipment downtime and operational interruptions.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees and guests.
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Branch Head.
Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
