Sales Manager – Job Responsibilities (Consumable Products)1. Sales Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Identify new market opportunities for consumable products
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends
2. Business Development
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term customers
- Expand dealer/distributor network
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
3. Customer Management
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable consumable products
- Handle key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely service
4. Product Knowledge & Promotion
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of consumable products (e.g., die casting consumables, lubricants, chemicals, etc.)
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Coordinate with technical/service team for support
5. Sales Operations
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals
- Monitor order processing, dispatch, and payment collection
- Ensure timely follow-up for outstanding payments
6. Team Management (if applicable)
- Lead and guide the sales team
- Set targets and monitor performance
- Provide training and motivation to team members
7. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports
- Maintain CRM data and customer records
- Report performance to senior management
8. Travel & Field Work
- Regular visits to customer sites, factories, and dealers
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
9. Coordination
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams
- Ensure smooth supply chain and customer delivery
10. Compliance & Company Policy
- Follow company policies and ethical sales practices
- Maintain confidentiality of business information
Pay: ₹14,219.42 - ₹57,098.76 per month
