Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Neurologist to diagnose, evaluate, and treat disorders related to the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. The consultant will provide comprehensive neurological care for both inpatient and outpatient services and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as:
* Stroke
* Epilepsy
* Headache & Migraine
* Parkinson’s disease
* Neuropathy
* Multiple sclerosis
* Dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders
* Conduct neurological examinations and clinical assessments
* Interpret MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and laboratory reports
* Provide inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and emergency neurological care
* Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
* Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, intensivists, and rehabilitation teams
* Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
* Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental meetings
* Follow hospital protocols, NABH standards, and ethical medical practices
Qualification Requirements
* MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pediatrics
* DM/DNB in Neurology
* Valid Medical Council Registration
Experience
* Freshers and experienced consultants can apply
* Experience in stroke management and neurocritical care is an added advantage
