Job Summary
The Head – Corporate Communications and Marketing will be responsible for leading the organization's corporate communications, public relations, brand management, stakeholder engagement functions, corporate marketing and digital marketing. The role will drive the development and execution of integrated communication and marketing strategies to strengthen Kerala Vision's market leadership across Broadband Services, Internet Leased Line (ILL), Managed Leased Line (MLL), Enterprise Connectivity Solutions, Cable Television Services, IPTV Platforms, OTT Streaming Services, and other digital offerings.
The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing brand visibility, corporate reputation, customer acquisition, subscriber growth, enterprise business development, and market expansion through strategic marketing initiatives, media relations, public affairs, customer engagement programs, and multi-channel communication campaigns. The position will work closely with business, sales, operations, technology, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of communication and marketing efforts with organizational objectives while strengthening relationships with customers, channel partners, media, government agencies, regulatory authorities, industry associations, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Brand Management
- Strengthen and maintain Kerala Vision's brand identity across all communication channels.
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual communication.
- Manage corporate communications, public relations activities, media interactions, and reputation management initiatives.
- Develop communication strategies for new product launches and service enhancements.
Public Relations & Media Management
- Develop and implement Public Relations (PR) strategies to enhance the company's brand image, reputation, and market positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, industry associations, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, media briefs, corporate announcements, and leadership communications.
- Coordinate media coverage for new product launches, service expansions, corporate achievements, CSR initiatives, and special events.
- Manage press conferences, media interactions, interviews, and public appearances of senior management.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding the company and recommend appropriate communication strategies.
Government & Industry Relations
- Liaise with government departments, local authorities, industry bodies, and regulatory organizations for communication and promotional initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, telecom forums, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support corporate representation at events organized by organizations such as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, cable television associations, technology forums, and digital media platforms.
Strategic Marketing & Business Growth
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Broadband, Cable TV, IPTV, OTT, ILL, MLL, and Enterprise Connectivity services.
- Design and execute customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and cross-selling programs across consumer and enterprise segments.
- Support business expansion initiatives by identifying new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities.
- Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, and growth roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour studies to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Enterprise & B2B Marketing
- Create targeted marketing programs for corporate customers, SMEs, educational institutions, government organizations, hospitals, and business parks.
- Promote Internet Leased Line (ILL), Managed Leased Line (MLL), Dedicated Internet Access, VPN Solutions, and enterprise connectivity services.
- Develop sector-specific marketing campaigns for enterprise clients.
- Support the Sales Team through lead-generation campaigns, presentations, brochures, case studies, and proposal materials.
- Organize enterprise networking events, technology seminars, and customer engagement programs.
Consumer Broadband, IPTV & OTT Marketing
- Develop campaigns to increase broadband subscriber acquisition and customer retention.
- Promote IPTV services, value-added digital services, and OTT streaming platforms.
- Design bundled service campaigns combining Broadband, IPTV, OTT, and Cable TV offerings.
- Monitor customer usage patterns and recommend promotional strategies to improve subscriber engagement and revenue.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute ATL, BTL, TTL, digital, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Manage advertising, outdoor branding, dealer branding, transit media, and local promotional activities.
- Coordinate product launch campaigns and promotional events.
- Track campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing investments based on performance metrics.
Digital Marketing
- Lead digital marketing initiatives across social media, search engines, websites, email marketing, and mobile platforms.
- Manage SEO, SEM, social media advertising, content marketing, and performance marketing campaigns.
- Enhance customer engagement through digital communication channels.
- Monitor online reputation and customer feedback across digital platforms.
Channel Partner & LCO Marketing
- Develop marketing programs to support Local Cable Operators (LCOs), franchisees, and channel partners.
- Create localized campaigns to increase subscriber acquisition and service penetration.
- Design dealer incentive campaigns, promotional materials, and branding support programs.
- Strengthen relationships with partner networks through engagement initiatives and training programs.
Events & Customer Engagement
- Organize trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, technology expos, and customer outreach programs.
- Plan and execute customer loyalty programs and community engagement activities.
- Coordinate sponsorships, CSR events, and brand activation initiatives.
Analytics & Performance Management
- Monitor marketing KPIs including subscriber acquisition, lead generation, customer retention, campaign ROI, brand awareness, and market share.
- Prepare periodic reports and present marketing performance insights to management.
- Utilize data analytics to improve campaign effectiveness and customer targeting.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree / MBA in Marketing, Mass Communication, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Media Relations, Corporate Communications, or Public Relations will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 12 to 20 years of progressive experience in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Brand Management, Media Relations, or Marketing Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and strategic initiatives.
- Experience in Telecommunications, ISP, Broadband, Digital TV, Technology Services, Media, Enterprise Connectivity, or related industries will be highly preferred.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns, public relations initiatives, and corporate branding programs.
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
