About the Company
Lotus Microwave Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Defence & Aerospace manufacturing company specializing in RF & Microwave components and subsystems. We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers to strengthen our Engineering & Operations team.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for smooth execution of manufacturing activities.
- Monitor production activities at vendor locations and expedite critical jobs.
- Follow up on machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, assembly, coating, inspection, and dispatch.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure timely completion of manufacturing activities as per project schedules and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain vendor databases.
- Evaluate vendor performance and support vendor development initiatives.
- Prepare vendor progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, assembly, and surface treatment processes.
- Excellent vendor management and production coordination skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in Defence & Aerospace, RF & Microwave, Precision Engineering, or Manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on exposure to fabrication, machining, welding, and sheet metal manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay at vendor locations whenever required.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
