Job Opening: Sous Chef – Japanese / Korean Cuisine

About the Role
L*ooking for an experienced Sous Chef* with expertise in Japanese/Korean cuisine to join our growing culinary team. If you're passionate about authentic flavors, consistency & leading a high-performing kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Japanese & Korean dishes including Sushi, Sashimi, Ramen, Donburi, Tempura, Yakitori, Teppanyaki, Bibimbap, and Korean BBQ.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage daily misa & place and smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and FSSAI/HACCP compliance.
- Monitor inventory, stock rotation (FIFO), and ingredient quality.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
- Support menu development and recipe standardization.
- Coordinate with vendors for quality procurement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in authentic Japanese and/or Korean cuisine.
- Hands-on expertise in Sushi preparation and other Japanese/Korean specialties.
- Experience in premium restaurants, luxury hotels, or QSR brands preferred.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, inventory management, and team leadership.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
