About Us
We are building content around fitness, nutrition, and healthy living under Prakash Kumar (@fitprak), a fitness creator with 102K+ followers on Instagram. We consistently produce educational and engaging content, and we're looking for a creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into high-quality, scroll-stopping videos.
We already handle the content production you'll focus on making the videos look exceptional through editing, storytelling, pacing, graphics, and sound design.
What You'll Do
- Edit both long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels).
- Edit approximately:
- 30 short-form videos per month
- 4 long-form videos per month
- Volume may increase depending on content requirements.
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing and storytelling.
- Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, zooms, sound effects, and background music where appropriate.
- Maintain a consistent editing style and brand identity.
- Color correct and enhance audio quality when required.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure timely delivery.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and deliver revised versions.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of:
- Social media trends
- Retention editing
- Hook creation
- Storytelling
- Pacing
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Bonus Skills
- Experience editing fitness, lifestyle, health, or educational content.
- Basic animation and motion graphics.
- Understanding of YouTube and Instagram content strategies.
