Job Description – Site Engineer (Interior Execution)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Site Engineer to join our team. The Interior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of interior design projects on-site, ensuring that the work is executed to the highest standards in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects, working closely with the project management team, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities at the project site to ensure timely and accurate completion of interior work.
· Supervise the installation of interior finishes, including flooring, drywall, ceilings, paint, and other decorative elements.
· Quality Control: Ensure that all interior works meet the design specifications and quality standards.
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction methods, materials, and finishing are in line with project requirements.
· Project Coordination: Liaise between design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of interior fit-out works.
· Coordinate the logistics and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the site as required.
· Safety Management: Enforce adherence to safety standards and site safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
· Ensure that all site workers comply with health and safety regulations.
· Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports to keep the project stakeholders informed.
· Maintain comprehensive site records, including work orders, material delivery logs, and any changes to the original plans.
· Problem Solving: Troubleshoot any issues or challenges on-site and work to resolve them promptly, ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline.
· Handle on-site challenges, including unforeseen site conditions and design changes.
· Client Interaction: Engage with clients on-site, providing updates and addressing any concerns or requests they may have regarding the interior work.
· Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure the seamless implementation of design concepts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A specialization in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is a plus.
Experience:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior site engineering, with a strong focus on interior fit-out projects.
· Experience working on both commercial and residential interior projects is preferred.
Technical Skills:
· Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety standards.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, or other relevant design tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:
· Ability to work on-site and manage daily activities.
· Must be flexible and adaptable to project changes.
· Occasional weekend or overtime work may be required based on project deadlines.
